Job Purpose
The role acts as a technical expert to chart out & execute Technology projects in Green Hydrogen & allied sustainable chemicals domain
Roles and Responsibilities
- Feasibility analysis of Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol & allied sustainable chemicals production, storage, transportation & downstream usage technologies
- Scope & manage Technology projects in GH & allied sustainable chemicals domain
- Lead competitive landscaping & techno-economic analysis of whole gamut of Green Hydrogen production & usage technologies
- Lead in technology partner selection for various pilots in GH space
- Keep track of novel technologies in GH & derivatives space and establish partnerships (OEM / start-up / academia) with an eye to remain ahead of the curve
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or advanced engineering degree (Chemical engineers favoured)
- 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in downstream oil & gas, chemicals, process industry
- Project management or R&D experience would be a plus
Key Skills
- Deep understanding of components required for GH production, storage, transportation and downstream use.
- Have knowledge of GH system integration (preferably with RE generators)
- Have hands-on experience in Hydrogen process design (electrolysis, fuel cell, conversion to chemical derivatives like MeOH, NH3)
- Have understanding of downstream uses of Hydrogen (P2X2P, green MeOH, NH3 etc)
- Conversant with hazard/safety assessment of hydrogen systems and knowledge of hydrogen related codes, standards and best practises
- Have knowledge of Hydrogen sector esp, policy & regulations related to India and/or other geographies
- Have proven technical proficiency with hydrogen production (electrolysis), storage and distribution systems (pipelines) and / or its derivatives.
- Experience with process engineering / R&D for oil & gas or chemical industry is a plus
