Job Description

Specific Responsibilities
-End to end responsibility of project execution with ability to take complete charge of the project from start to finish through conceptual study, feasibility study, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and plant handover
-Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with external stakeholders i.e. EPC contractors, sub-contractors, technology licensors, equipment suppliers and various other service  providers
-Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals
-Develop project plan considering project dependencies and critical path and schedule project timelines/ milestones using appropriate tools viz. MS Project & monitor
-Deliver progress reports and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans
-Responsible for cost, quality, schedule, and project safety
-Coordinate for implementing best practices/ tools for effective project execution and management
-Coordinate with relevant departments for smooth execution of project
-Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
-Develop communication documents and establish proper communication protocols throughout the lifecycle of the project
-Attend meetings with Contractors, consultants, and external suppliers
-Project site monitoring, time to time visit to site to have a look on the proceeding Providing input and resolution for the running projects and appraise head of projects, business head on project health and escalate issues in timely manner if they are not getting resolved within timeline 
-Assist Project Manager in daily project execution tasks. 

Technical leadership responsibility
-Co-ordinate with technical/engineering team for smooth execution of project
-Exploring new methodologies in project management area and prepare implementation plans 

Claim and Contract management
-Closely work with Contract team and analysis of contract in terms of risks, opportunities, claim potential
-Permanent monitoring of project for contractual non-conformances and implementing appropriate measures

Risk and Claims Management
-Promptly assessing and evaluating factors that significantly influence the project
-Identifying and analyzing risks, defining, and implementing effective countermeasures, minimizing risks, and thereby reducing costs
-Regular monitoring of risks and opportunities and appraise to head of Projects/ of Hydrogen business 

Stakeholder / Partner Management
-Selecting and actively involved in EPC contractors, Engineering consultants, Suppliers etc.
-Work closely with Engineering Consultant to ensure project implementation and on time delivery as per organization and project goals

Quality Management
-Promptly identifying not conformity and implementing effective countermeasures
-Continuous implementation and where appropriate, adaptation of efficient sequences and processes based on specified methodology

Deliverables 
-Successful project delivery through conceptual study, feasibility study, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Plant handover to operation team
-Continuous implementation and where appropriate, adaptation of efficient sequences and processes based on specified methodology

Profile & Eligible Criteria
-EPC experience as a Project Engineer/Manager in EPC Projects (in process Industry / Oil & Gas/power) as the basic requirement for the subject-position (Should have been experience for at least one Large EPC project from initiation to handover).Exposure to contract management, risk management and project controls aspects.
